GUEST APPEARANCES
Vanyel not only has his own trilogy, but he pops up later in the Valdemar series as well. Since i haven't read those books in awhile, tho, this page isn't very detailed just yet. ^^; As soon as i get a chance, i'll skim through them again and update this.

WINDS
Vanyel and Stefen show up in the WInds trilogy, which revolves around Elspeth (not the old Elspeth from Vanyel's time, the young one of Queen Selenay's rule, about six hundred years after Vanyel's time. Van interferes with a gate, and explains about the protections he had placed on Valdemar, sends Elspeth and her friends on their way, and takes down the shields he'd put up so long ago.

STORMS
Vanyel and Stefen make another appearance when a group of people journey to the tower of Urtho, the Mage of Silence from the time of the Mage Wars and the Cataclysm. They're there to try and prevent another Cataclysm that will be caused by magical "echoes" from the first. The group brings in Vanyel (and Stefen with him) to help them. He comes in in the third book, Storm Breaking.
