Ah, Kilik. First worn to Ushicon 3 (sans stick), then to A-kon. My friend Lucy actually borrowed the jacket and stick to wear to Ushicon 4. I like this costume. Of course, that's why I decided to make it in the first place--I loved the sleeves of the jacket! And of course, Kilik is awesome and has the greatest lines. "This rod will be your doom!" XD Hurray for SCII! anyways....the stick was PVC pipe, spraypainted the night before the con. Oh, and i got the shoulder things to stick out using thin wire. ADVICE: Cover all wire ends, so that they can't scratch you! ^^;; after a day of being Kilik at A-kon, i had angry red scratches on my upper arms. so yeah, don't let the costume injure you. Oh, funny story about this costume: After Ushicon, Xan and I went to the mall to buy Bloody Roar, and I was in my Kilik costume. I asked the guy at the counter if he recognized me, and he didn't...I told him I was Kilik from SCII, and he said "Oh! I didn't recognize you, 'cuz you're a chick!" O.o....I guess that's a compliment? yeah, i stole the red under-shirt/camisole thing from an earlier costume from SCI, b/c I have breasts. I still love the sleeves. *^^*
